The sacrament of Reconciliation is a sacrament in which the priest, as the agent of God, forgives sins committed after Baptism, when the sinner is heartily sorry for them, sincerely confesses them, and is willing to make satisfaction for them.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated:
- Saturdays after 8:00a.m. Mass and from 3:00pm – 4:00pm
Communal Reconciliation Services are scheduled at various times throughout the year. Other occasions can be arranged by contacting a priest. For First Reconciliation, children are prepared to celebrate this sacrament in Grade 2, prior to the celebration of First Communion in the third grade. Any child beyond 2nd grade who would like to celebrate Reconciliation can also be prepared through the Faith Formation Program.
