The purpose of the Pastoral Council at Saint George Church is to discern the movement of the Holy Spirit among the people of God, to work for consensus of vision among its members, and to help the parish community meet the challenges of being a church in the modern world.

a spirit of wisdom and of understanding, a spirit
of counsel and of strength, a spirit of
knowledge and of fear of the Lord.”
