The main goal of our parish community is to help serve you in the name of God. The Saint George Church food pantry provides food for parish families and families within the boundaries set by the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Parishioners are always invited to drop off non-perishable food donations in the food pantry boxes at the entrance of the church.

“For I was hungry and you gave me food,
I was thirsty and you gave me drink,
a stranger and you welcomed me.”
(Matthew 25: 35)

Each year at Christmas the Food Pantry works in partnership with volunteer parishioners to coordinate gifts for families enrolled in the parish food bank. Parishioners are able to buy gifts for food pantry clients and their families. This is a wonderful way for families to work together to provide for those in need during the holidays.

“In every way I have shown you that by hard work of that 
sort we must help the weak, and keep in mind the words of the 
Lord Jesus who himself said, “It is more blessed to give than receive.” 
(Acts 21: 35)
