Saint George Church offers various forms of Christian outreach groups in order to bring fellow parish members together.
Whether you’re looking to get your kids more involved or you want to help serve the Erie community, Saint George Church offers plenty of opportunities for all.
Respect Life
The Respect Life group participates and promotes Respect Life events and initiatives locally, nationally and internationally. Members participate in the annual March on Washington, the Erie Walk for Life events and strives to educate the community regarding Respect Life issues.
Roman Catholic Knights
On Saturday January 12, 2019, while attending lauds and the early morning Mass at the Saint Joseph’s Abbey, a Trappist Monastery in Spencer, Massachusetts, Matt Hersch was overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit and charged to form this Roman Catholic Knighthood.
Matt is a parishioner of Saint George Church and has a heart and deep commitment to this men’s ministry.

That Man is You
That Man is You! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive!

This team meets monthly to study contemporary topics in evangelization and strategically plans specific outreach to identified ministries.
